JUDGE THROWS OUT KID ROCK LAWSUIT

A judge has dismissed a musician’s claim that Kid Rock copied a hit track from him.Troy Landry alleged the rap stars song 'Somebody’s Gotta Feel This' was a rip-off of tunes he released on a 1994 album.But U.S. District Judge Mary Ann Vial Lemmon has ruled in favor of Kid Rock, stating, "The works are not so strikingly or substantially similar as to preclude independent creation. A layman would not view the works as substantially similar."
