Jenny McCarthy has dubbed boyfriend Jim Carrey "the autism whisperer".The 'Scary Movie 3' star - whose five-year-old son Evan was diagnosed with autism two years ago - is delighted with how much the actor has helped her son. Jenny, 34, told People magazine: "Beyond doubt it was written in the stars that Jim and Evan were a pair."He's actually helped Evan get past some obstacles I couldn't. I sometimes call him the autism whisperer. He speaks a language Evan understands, and Evan feels safe with him."Jenny admits she was reluctant to introduce Jim, 45, to her son at first.She said: "He was intrigued. He asked questions. Still, it took me a few months to bring Evan over."The blonde actress, who was previously married to film director John Asher before they divorced in 2005, went on to reveal that she and twice-divorced Jim have no plans to marry, despite being so happy together.She said: "There will be no certificate. It goes far deeper than that. Jim came into our life with an open heart and open arms. He's learned a lot about autism. He listens. The power of listening. It can move mountains."Jim has a 20-year-old daughter Jane with ex-wife actress-and-waitress Melissa Womer. He wed his 'Dumb and Dumber' co-star Lauren Holly in 1996,but the marriage lasted less than a year.
