PARIS HILTON BUYS MILLION DOLLAR HOUSE

Paris Hilton has splashed out $6.25 million on a Beverly Hills mansion.The 26-year-old star, who is currently living in a rented Malibu beach house, has snapped up a five-bedroom property in the gated Mulholland Estates community.Paris' new 7,500sq ft Mediterranean-style home boasts its own gym, "gourmet kitchen", butler's pantry and wine store.Earlier this month, the blonde socialite's Hollywood property was sold for $4.25 million after just 10 days on the market.Her former home, a Spanish-style 1920s mansion, had three bathrooms and four bedrooms, one of which was converted into a huge closet. It also had a pool, separate guest quarters and an office.'The Simple Life' star admitted she was sad to sell the house, but was "scared" by the number of male fans "just showing up". She said: "It's hard to move, but there are too many people who know where I live. There are 20 tour buses coming every day. Random guys from all around the world just show up and leave things. I'm scared."Paris, who bought the property in 2004 for $2.9 million, is planning to become a "real estate mogul".She revealed: "I definitely want to get more into real estate. Own my own hotels, restaurants, my own Paris stores. There's a lot more to do. I want to be a real estate mogul."
