David Blaine used magic tricks to stop himself from being thrown out of a nightclub. The magician was reportedly asked to leave a Hamptons nightclub after ALLEGEDLY drunkenly downing drinks belonging to two ladies he didn't know, and then smashing the glasses on the floor. Two witnesses claim that as security guards tried to show Blaine the door, he pulled out a deck of cards and said, "If I can do these tricks, I can't be that drunk."After wowing the security guards with his magic act, Blaine was allowed to stay in the club, according to the New York Daily News newspaper. The 33-year-old has been keeping a low profile since his last public stunt, which took place in November last year. Blaine escaped from shackles four stories high above New York's Times Square, after spending two days in a spinning gyroscope. The illusionist was strapped into the contraption and hoisted by a crane above the streets where he spent 48 hours spinning while exposed to wintry weather conditions. The stunt ended dramatically as Blaine managed to escape his shackles in just 15 minutes.
