NUT BRITNEY SPEARS DIVORCE FINALISED

Britney Spears has finalised her divorce from Kevin Federline. The official papers were filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday and signed in the afternoon by Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Scott Gordon. Britney's lawyer Laura Wasser said after the hearing: "They are divorced. Everything is finalised."I think she's OK with the terms. She would like to be with the kids more. She said that. She thinks Kevin would like that too."I think both of them would prefer to have more custody, and that can be worked out down the line."When questioned about the alimony payment agreement, Wasser said it will not be made public unless there is an enforcement issue.Gordon ruled yesterday that Britney, 25, and Kevin, 28, will continue to share equal custody of their sons, 22-month-old Sean Preston and10-month-old Jayden James, pending a custody hearing on August 14. But a source close to Kevin has revealed he may file for full custody within the next few days. The insider said: "His attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has been watching and monitoring Britney's behaviour very closely."There is a clause in the divorce so either parent can seek full custody and it is very possible that you will see Kaplan seeking full custody for Kevin as early as this week."Kevin is extremely concerned with Britney's erratic behaviour and he needs to make sure his kids are protected."Britney has not met the benchmarks for sobriety that were outlined in the agreement."Wasser won the right for the current custody agreement - which divides custody equally - to be sealed to protect the best interests of the children.Wasser implied if the document - detailing the specific timeshare schedule and transportation specifications - was made public the children could be at risk of being kidnapped. She wrote: "Such information greatly increases the chances that the actions of the media could threaten the safety of the minor children by, for example, causing a traffic accident or by exposing the minor children to criminals who might target the minor children for financial gain."Britney filed for divorce on November 7, 2006, after just two years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences".The 'Toxic' singer asked for both legal and physical custody of the children, with reasonable visitation rights for Kevin. He responded by filing for divorce and also seeking both legal and physical custody of the children.
