'The Rock' has split from his wife Dany Garcia Johnson.The 'Doom' actor - real name Dwayne Johnson - and his estranged spouse released a statement announcing their break-up.The statement read: "While certain aspects of our relationship have changed,we are both vitally important to each other's lives. "We will continue to advance and manage our business interests, our philanthropic efforts and most importantly the raising of our child together as a loving team. We've been fortunate enough to spend the last 17 years together as a couple and look forward to spending the rest of our lives together as best friends and business partners."'The Rock' - who shot to fame as a WWE wrestler - and Garcia married in1997. They met while they were students at the University of Miami.The couple have a daughter, Simone Alexandra, who was born on August 142001.Garcia is the CEO of JDM Partners, a wealth management firm in Miami.After achieving huge success as a wrestler, 'The Rock' moved into acting,appearing in a number of films, including 'The Mummy Returns', 'The Scorpion King' and 'Walking Tall'.He is currently working on 'Get Smart', a remake of the secret agent 60s TV comedy series.He stars with in the movie with Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway and Alan Arkin.The film is set to be released in June 2008.
