MANIC PANIC THROWS COLORFUL NYC BASH

Tish with Liz Claman and Snooky
Manic Panic had a kick off party at Azza for their 30th Anniversary Celebration which will take place on July 7, 2007. The party was well attended by friends and fans of the world's first and foremost alternative beauty brand. Among the revelers were: NBC's Morning Call Anchor Liz Claman, actor Zach Galligan best known for his role in Gremlins, Entourage's Associate Producer Eric Weinstein, everyone's favorite sexpert Robin Byrd and many others. Manic Panic began in 1977 when two N.Y.C. born sisters Tish and Snooky gathered up some of their clothing designs and with a $500 loan from their mom, opened America’s very first punk-style boutique on NYC’s infamous St. Mark’s Place. The store catered to the punk rock and alternative crowd with hipsters coming from all over the world to shop. Thirty years later, Manic Panic is an internationally renowned hair color and cosmetics company with products available in over 20 countries.
