ISAIAH WASHINGTON EXPECTED TO RETURN TO TOP SHOW GREY'S ANATOMY

ISAIAH WASHINGTON has dismissed reports he is to be axed from hit U.S. TV show GREY’S ANATOMY, after his character was seen packing his bags at the end of season three.Washington’s future on the popular medical drama has been in doubt following the controversy surrounding a homophobic remark he made about cast mate T.R.Knight last October - a comment he repeated at the Golden Globe Awards earlier this year. But the actor, who plays Dr Preston Burke on the show, says he expects to return to the set when filming for the next season begins in August. His publicist Howard Bragman says, "We fully expect to be back in the fall. The deal’s not done but we have no reason to believe he won’t be putting on the scrubs." And a source close to the production admitted Dr. Burke’s exit on the season finale doesn’t mean he won’t return to Seattle Grace Hospital. The source says, "A lot of character story lines were left in question. It’s a cliffhanger finale."T.R.’s character looks like he could be going, It doesn’t necessarily mean anything."
