Hi. My name is Troy Fenton. I'm based in Melbourne, Australia. I know Mark Berry well and he knows me. I'm a music industry professional, primarily in artist management, and have been on Berry's trail since 1999.

I'm sure you're aware of the Now magazine article about Berry in 1999. That led to a CBC-TV doco called "Selling The Dream" which screened nationally in Canada in 2000. I was involved in that program, helping to expose Berry. I've also pressured the Toronto Police to take action, but for some reason they won't act. Something wrong there.

I'm still on the case, have been in touch with artists all over the world who have been ripped off by Berry (e.g. there was a band from Brazil who claim that Berry ripped them off for a hundred grand). There are artists in Scotland, New Zealand, all over Europe, the U.S.,everywhere.

I saw a mention on your blog that you were aware of programs about him in other countries. Would appreciate any info about that.

Do you know any other Canadian artists who have recently been involved with Berry?

I'm working on something at the moment that should shut him down.

Sorry to hear about your experiences. And it's typical of Berry to try to play the legal system, and not pay up.
