PHISH ROCKER ERNEST "TREY" ANASTASIO BUSTED WITH HEROIN IN HIS CAR

The front man for the rock band Phish may be charged with a felony in Albany, N.Y., after heroin was allegedly found in his car. Ernest "Trey" Anastasio (left) was in court Wednesday for his arraignment on the misdemeanor drug charges, WNYT-TV reported. Anastasio was charged with being on drugs but after reports alleging that heroin was found in the car, the district attorney wants to up the charges to a felony, the television station said. Anastasio was arrested after a patrolman said he saw him swerve over a double yellow line. The arresting officer said in his report that "Anastasio was hyper and his hands were shaking very badly." Anastasio told the police that he had been smoking hashish and had taken some pills. The district attorney said that it is unlikely that the rocker will go to jail and will probably have to undergo a drug rehabilitation program.
