MICK JAGGER SAYS GOODBYE TO FATHER JOE JAGGER

Mick Jagger

Sir Mick Jagger was comforted by his present lover and past loves as he said goodbye to his father yesterday. The Rolling Stones singer - accompanied by his American girlfriend L'Wren Scott - quietly sobbed as he laid his 93-year-old father Joe to rest during a private service in West London. Other mourners included Sir Mick's ex-wives Bianca Jagger and Jerry Hall and ex-lover Marsha Hunt, who came along to pay their respects with Mick's children, which included Jade, Elizabeth, Georgia May, Karis and James. Brazilian model Luciana Morad - who is the mother of Mick's son Lucas - was not present. An onlooker said: "Sir Mick looked very sad as he looked at his father's coffin. He was very reflective most of the time. He seemed really grateful for the support of all the family members he had around him."Dressed in a black suit and tie and wearing sunglasses, Mick greeted friends including Stones' drummer Charlie Watts and charity campaigner Sir Bob Geldof as they arrived for the service at St Mary's College church, in Teddington. The 63-year-old singer is believed to have sung a song in tribute to his father - who he has often described as the greatest influence on his life -during the ceremony. Mick was devastated when the former PE teacher passed away in hospital earlier this month following a fall in his home in October. The rocker had only recently left Joe's bedside to rejoin his band in the US on their 'A Bigger Bang' tour after being told his father's condition was improving.
