TED KENNEDY TAKEN OUT ON STRETCHER

Image
NBC news network is reporting that Senator Ted Kennedy has experienced a seizure while at President Barack Obama’s luncheon today. He appeared to be in pain and was taken out by a stretcher. Kennedy is currently being treated by medical professionals. President Obama offered help and expressed concern when he spoke to the luncheon attendees: “First of all, I know that while I was out of the room, concern was expressed about Teddy,” Obama said. “He was there when the Voting Rights Act passed. And, along with John Lewis, was a warrior for justice. And so I would be lying to you if I did not say that right now a part of me is with him. And I think that is true for all of us. This is a joyous time, but it’s also a sobering time. And my prayers are with him and his family and Vicki.” Sen. Robert C. Byrd, 91, also was taken from the luncheon but it was not clear whether his departure was prompted by his health. Photo By: Walter McBride/Retna

Senator Ted Kennedy Legendary Senator Ted Kennedy at aged 76, is recovering at a Boston hospital after suffering a seizure yesterday at his home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Kennedy will undergo further evaluation to determine the cause of the seizure, and a course of treatment will be determined at that time.” In a statement, Kennedy aides said he would remain in the hospital until at least tomorrow. “He is undergoing a battery of tests at Massachusetts General Hospital to determine the cause of the seizure,” the statement read. “Senator Kennedy is resting comfortab...
