Tara Reid Hollywood star Tara Reid is confirming that she is engaged to businessman Michael Axtmann, after he proposed to her during a night out in Los Angeles California on Monday. Tara has been dating Axtmann since early last year, and the couple has been plagued by gossip that they are preparing to make their union official. Now the actress has revealed the reports are true. She's looking forward to marriage after her lover popped the question during dinner at L.A. restaurant The Little Door. A representative for Reid confirmed the happy news to People.com , saying, "Michael surprised Tara with a beautiful round brilliant cut ring. Tara Reid Hollywood star Tara Reid's publicist is denying reports that the star checked out of a rehabilitation center in California on Saturday.The actress entered the Promises Treatment Center in December for undisclosed reasons. Over the weekend, People.com reported the star had left the facility, with a source telling the website the star is "doing well". Hollywood star Tara Reid has checked into a rehab clinic in California, her spokesperson is confirming. The actress will spend Christmas and the New Years eve in the Promises Treatment Center in Malibu. It is not known yet what she is being treated for. Her representative, Jack Ketsoyan, tells People.com, "Tara Reid has checked herself into Promises Treatment Center. We appreciate your respect to her and her family's privacy at this time." A friend tells People that Reid entered Promises on Tuesday: "Her friends and family are supportive of her decision. She checked in herself, and it was her decision." Back in October, the one-time notorious party girl told reporters she was now a "social drinker" after years of hitting alcohol hard. And she insisted she was never tempted to slip back to her old, wild ways: "No. I've done it. Trust me. I've done enough for a lifetime of everything. I've had a great time. I partied. I had fun....

Hollywood star Tara Reid is very desperate to start a family, hinting that she is trying for kids with her current boyfriend Julien Jarmoune. Reid believes she has become more famous for her alleged wild antics than her film roles in recent years, believes she is often punished for simply enjoying herself. She says, "What have I ever really done? Dance on a table? When Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton got their DUIs they got punished, they deserved it. "But my punishment, I don’t feel like it fits the crime. I don’t understand why people punish others for being happy."
