In this clip, Annette asks Sally about the behind the scenes fight she fought to keep the role of Mary Lincoln in the new movie Lincoln. Sally recounts the story of initially being told by legendary director Steven Spielberg that he didn’t see her playing the part of Mary Lincoln, only to tell him “you’re wrong Steven, you’re wrong.” Spielberg ended up giving her the opportunity to test with Daniel Day-Lewis, and on the car ride home Sally got the call from Steven and Daniel asking “will you be our Mary?”.

Sally Field Famed actress Sally Field hates the effects aging is having on her body, but refuses to go under the knife to make her look younger. The 63-year-old is so unhappy with her looks she can’t bear to watch herself in her television show Brothers & Sisters. She tells Good Housekeeping magazine, "I see myself on TV and I say, ‘Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck. And your face is falling down, and your eyes are so puffy.’" But she’s convinced she’d look worse if she was surgically enhanced. Field also adds, "I see some of the women (who have had plastic surgery) who I thought when they were younger were so beautiful. Now I think, ‘Oh, dear, don’t do that!’ And it seems to be terribly disrespectful to who they are now." We at Times Square Gossip think she still looks great ! Photo By: Sara De Boer/Retna
