Lily Lane With Orion Carloto And Mandy Jiroux RadioShack Santa Monica was filled with excited teens yesterday afternoon as they hosted a Meet & Greet and performance by singer/songwriter Lily Lane (known for her recent Pretty Little Liars single "Nothin' But Trouble") and Youtube sensation Orion Carloto. During the Meet & Greet with a line of 70+ people, Mandy Jiroux - recording artist, DJ, choreographer and former face of Miley Cyrus' "Miley and Mandy Show" - was on-hand, spinning some tunes for the audience to enjoy. Lily and Orion then took to the stage to perform covers of songs like "Royals", Iggy Azalea hit "Fancy" and Lily Lane originals like “Nothin’ But Trouble” and "I Get High". Maksim was overheard raving about the SOL REPUBLIC products, talking about how much music is a part of his life because of dancing. He was also overheard talking about the recent dating rumors, mentioning that he was linked to a "million different girls" in just one weekend. The English media personality checked out the latest gadgets and electronics while flying the RadioShack Blade Runner Heliquad around the store! He also checked out the Google Chromecast, did a little RC car racing with Lisa, and listened to tunes through SOL REPUBLIC Headphones. “RadioShack has access to the hottest tech gear and have friendly experts on-hand to help me out,” he said with a grin.

The ad is meant to shed outdated perceptions of the brand for consumers in need of a reintroduction to RadioShack. “This is a bold, strategic move for RadioShack, and we’re using the Super Bowl as the platform to get people to rethink RadioShack,” said Jennifer Warren, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at RadioShack. “This ad is meant to grab attention, make viewers laugh, and let people know, it’s out with the old and in with the new RadioShack.” The ad, titled “The Phone Call,” features icons from ’80s pop culture who show up to reclaim the technology of their decade, helping the brand turn the page on the RadioShack of the past.
