As most of you can see, we added extra pages on restaurants, books and travel. And if you are submitting a interesting story, please read our submission guidelines . When you follow them, we can move real quick on just about any story. We have had a lot of problems with several PR people who insist on sending stories their way and we have told them to take us off their list. Our guidelines if followed, saves all of us time and this includes you. I do not want to have to e-mail you back and forth and I am sure you do not want to have me nagging you. I have decided to just delete any stories that do not follow our guidelines. It has just become too much. What ever happened to loyalty. So many of the old timers in this business are either retiring or dieing. They are being replaced by young, know-it-all editors who in reality know nothing. You will call the major newspapers and you get this 23 year old something and pitch a story and they say something like "who is that" or "why are you bothering me with this". They just do not get the story and they just do not get being nice so you will continue to come back to them. In the old days, I would call the photo desk and if they were not interested, they would say something like, we can't use it now, but please keep calling us back with your material. Now you get a snobby bitch, who knows nothing about the business and was only hired because some new 40 something editor likes to wat...
