Osmond and Friends kick-off their Atlantic City stint on Monday, July 29 at 7pm in the Circus Maximus Theater. Marie Osmond Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son Michael Blosil has died, a family spokesman said today. "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time," the entertainer said in a statement through spokesman Alan Nierob. Brian Elias of the Los Angeles Coroner's Office said the death is under investigation.Michael Blosil jumped to his death last night from his downtown Los Angeles California apartment building, leaving behind a note, ETOnline reports, referring to a lifelong battle with depression. Singing legend Marie Osmond is regretting not having a pre-nup before she wed her second husband Brian Blosil in 1986, because their divorce is costing her tons of money. The star is supporting her ex hubby with alimony payments and child support, but she is admitting she never even thought of her financial future when Blosil proposed, because she was so much in love. She says, "A pre-nup would have been a good idea (but) you just don’t go into (a marriage) thinking you’ll fail." Pop legend Marie Osmond has spoken out about her son’s stay in rehab, insisting the teenager is well on his way to a good recovery. Teen Michael Osmond, 16, ended a traumatic year for the singer when he checked into an undisclosed treatment center in November. The singer broke the news during an interview with newsman Larry King, stating, "My son is amazing." In an official statement, she added, "As his mother, I couldn’t be more proud of him." Now, Osmond says, "I’m so proud of my son and I’m so grateful that he’s learning things at 16 that some of us take to our 40s to learn." No details surrounding the reason for Michael Osmond’s rehab stint have not been disclosed.

Marie Osmond's 21-year marriage to producer Brian Blosil is to end in divorce. The couple has announced their official split, asking the public and the press to "respect our privacy in this matter." In a joint statement, the couple reveals there's no third party involved, and they plan on keeping all matters as amicable as possible for the sake of their eight children. The statement reads, "Though our marriage is ending, we continue to have a very amicable relationship. Our marriage has always been a faithful one and neither of us is assigning fault for the divorce. "Our children, as always, are our top priority and in our deep love for them we will continue to jointly fulfil our roles as active parents in their daily lives. Beyond this statement we will not be discussing the reasons for our divorce."

Donny and Marie Osmond unveiled both of their caricatures at Sardi’s last night. Marie’s caricature, a better likeness, came as a surprise to her and everyone else in the audience including her brother Donny. She was shocked because she thought she was there to honor her brother and to present his caricature to him, but as seen in photos she got one of her own. Donny feels he has come full circle because it was Disney that started their careers and he is currently appearing in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as the character, Gaston. Despite the fact that he thought it did not look much like him, he was so pleased and honored to be on the celebrity wall at Sardi’s. Marie Osmond has not accepted work in the past few years because she has been devoting her time to taking care of her sick husband, then her Mom who became ill after which their Dad needed care. All this, and of course her kids.She is no longer the skinny little girl, but Marie still looks great, doesn’t she kiddies ?
