This year's event honored fashion designer B. Michael, Margo Catsimatidis and owners of Michael's Restaurant, Kim and Michael McCarty. Co-chairs were NY Social Diary's founder David Patrick Columbia, and Margo and James Nederlander. Grunwald Award for Public Service honoring Norman Pearlstine, Chief Content Officer, Time Inc. along with a special recognition to Liz Smith with Barbara Walters as Master of Ceremonies. The Henry A. Grunwald Award for Public Service, inaugurated in 2001 by Lighthouse Guild, recognizes individuals who are committed to advancing causes that benefit society overall and of particular significance for Lighthouse Guild to advancing public awareness of vision impairment and vision rehabilitation.
