Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian Lamar Odom is ready to get some professional help. E! News can confirm the former Los Angeles Lakers player recently admitted himself into rehab in San Diego, Calif. "It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life," a source shared with E! News. "He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety." The decision comes more than a year after the former NBA player experienced a near-fatal overdose in Las Vegas. Back in October 2015, Lamar became unconscious at a brothel in Crystal, Nev. An ambulance took him to a nearby hospital where doctors found a cocktail of drugs in his system. He's been through a lot dealing with his health but he is determined to get better and take care of himself. Joined by her boyfriend, rapper French Montana and a large group of friends, Khloe enjoyed the daytime party atmosphere from a VIP cabana. That evening, Khloe celebrated her 30th birthday at TAO. Joined again by French Montana and friends Malika Haqq and her twin sister Khadijah Haqq McCray, the star dazzled on the red carpet before heading in to the restaurant for a celebratory dinner. The crowd of fans that had gathered around the red carpet hours prior to Khloe’s arrival sang her “Happy Birthday” and she graciously made her way over to them to pose for several photos. Once inside the restaurant, R&B crooner Miguel and girlfriend Nazanin Mandi joined the group. Everyone enjoyed several signature dishes and an array of sushi from the Asian kitchen.
