ART PRODIGY MIKAIL AKAR EXHIBIT HITS NEW YORK CITY

  Mikail Akar Wonderkind and art prodigy Mikail Akar is making waves in the art world at the tender age of just 10 years old. The talented creator already is a bona fide painter with works found worldwide and showcasing in numerous exhibitions around the globe.   Nadja Sayej With Legend George Wayne The New York Flagship Store, Creative Director Graeme Fidler and well-wishers hosted by Peter Davis of Avenue Magazine came together to celebrate contemporary British footwear and accessories brand Harrys of London which has been rebranded and renamed Harrys London.  The change comes after the revolutionary men’s shoe brand has expanded globally, following the opening of their New York City flagship store, which opened in 2019 at 463 Park Avenue (Park Ave. & 57th St.), and the introduction of their new creative director, Graeme Fidler, in 2021.  The new rebranding aims to make the brand’s name and logo more easily accessible across shops, shoes and social media. ARTIST DON HERSHMAN CELEBRATES FINALE OF RETROSPECTIVE SERIES INSPIRED BY VICTOR ARIMONDI

   Donald Hershman And George Wayne Artist Don Hershman celebrated the finale of his latest collection of original pieces, as part of a retrospective series inspired by the late Victor Arimondi.  In the show, Donald and Victor: Under The Influence, the inventive artist embodied his visceral need to pursue interests and creative expressions as he paid a loving tribute to his former partner who succumbed to AIDS in 2001. Hershman’s paintings recognizes the unique attributes of Arimondi’s work, featuring a display that is compassionate and reflective of our modern times. The exhibit can still be viewed until Sunday, June 27th, 2021. A feature film chronicling Don & Victor’s relationship, with a screenplay written by Don, is titled SHOOT ME BEAUTIFUL and is currently in preproduction. George Rush serves as executive producer.
