Image
Seaplane Is Towed On East River   A Seaplane crashed into the New York City East River today.  The small plane made a very hard landing in New York’s East River. Eight people were on the plane and survived and were removed from the plane by New York City Fire Department responders. Two people sustained minor injuries, but they declined medical attention at the scene. FDNY received a call at 12:01 p.m. about a seaplane making a hard landing in the river north of the Williamsburg Bridge. The plane landed upright in the water, FDNY said. The aircraft was towed back to dock.  The plane had taken off from the Town of East Hampton Airport at 11:24 a.m., according to flight records. Audio from ATC.com captured the moment an NYPD helicopter responded to the incident. “Mayday, mayday, mayday,” the helicopter pilot reported. “Plane down in the water.”   The rough landing caused a wing strut to snap, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA will investig...

MAN JUMPS INTO EAST RIVER IN HUNTERS POINT SOUTH PARK SUICIDE - POLICE INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY

Image
Police Rescue Body From East River Yesterday there was a suicide in Hunters Point South Park. According to witnesses the man approached Park department workers and claimed he was being chased from Staten Island by people that wanted to kill him. Park department workers said he appeared to be on something, that he was delusional and was rambling away before he fled to the waterfront and jumped in.  Police were called to the scene right away, with the NYPD 108th precinct and the NYPD Harbor Patrol responding. The man was face down in the east river and his body was pulled onto the boat where EMS were waiting to try and revive the man. According to witnesses, the man was pronounced dead.  Photo Courtesy Of Helen Proffes

PRESIDENTIAL ALERTS & GERMAN BATTLE SHIP IN NYC

Image
German Battle Ship In East River FEMA's test of Presidential alerts? What is going on? German Navy Battle Ship going up the East River? Air Force Helicopters flying all around New York City? We wonder what is really going on. I took this photo yesterday from my home in Hunters Point South.  With Trump as president, we have to worry. We have to worry a lot. This man is insane, known him for 30 years and something is going on, no matter what they tell us. Why would a German Battle Ship be in the East River?

HORNBLOWER NYC FERRY SCREWS HUNTERS POINT

Image
Hunters Point South Ferry Landing Gone Hornblower NYC Ferry are really putting the screws to the residents and businesses in Hunters Point South.  Hornblower was supposed to do a quick walkway replacement. But they did not plan. They removed a huge heavy steal walkway and replaced it with a lightweight aluminum walkway which sent the other side of the pier diving into the water, where it got stuck. You know, it makes sense, if you are taking a certain amount of weight from one side, you have to adjust the other side. But they did not think. When they removed the steal walkway the other side went diving into the pilings and got stuck.  Hunters Point South Ferry Landing Removed Walkway & Dock Hornblower then makes a announcement that there are tidal changes in the East River that were the cause of this. Bullshit! That's all I have to say. This was not a well planned repair and the service has been out almost all summer. LIC Landing the restau...

NO HELICOPTERS IN NYC FOR TOURISTS AND RICH

Image
New York City Helicopter Crash A red Eurocopter AS350 helicopter that crashed into Manhattan's East River had been privately chartered for a photo shoot, authorities said. The New York City helicopter crash that killed everyone on board except the pilot may have been caused by a passenger's piece of luggage, the pilot told investigators. The pilot said one of the passenger's bags may have inadvertently hit the emergency fuel shutoff button, leading to the crash that killed five passengers, a senior law enforcement official said. A police source identified the pilot as 33-year-old Richard Vance. The passengers were on a Liberty Helicopters chopper that had been chartered for a private photo shoot, authorities said. The National Transportation Safety Board will try to determine the cause of the Sunday evening crash. The NTSB tweeted that an investigation team of 14 people would arrive today. Editors Note: Living on the East River, we have to...
