  Jean Shafiroff And Debbie Gibson Christopher Meloni GLA Board Members And Honorees Global Lyme Alliance (GLA), the leading nonprofit dedicated to conquering Lyme and other tick-borne diseases held their annual GLA Global Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City.  The annual event raises Lyme disease awareness and funds for research to improve diagnostics and treatments and ultimately find a cure for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases. This year’s gala was a night to remember for invited celebrities, business leaders, and top scientists alike.  The spectacular event began with cocktails, dinner, and an auction followed by a special musical performance by music icon Debbie Gibson. Christopher Meloni And Jeanine Hill Law and Order SVU Star Christopher Meloni is featured with blond bombshell and Actress Jeanine Hill in the upcoming National Lampoon's Dirty Movie. Ms. Hill has appeared in dozens of films and television programs including The Sopranos series on HBO. Dirty Movie is expected to be a blockbuster hit. Jeanine is native of Long Island and New York City resident. She was recently named as one of the future stars to watch for 2011 by Boulevard Magazine.

Mariska Hargitay Law And Order: SVU stars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay have finally ended their months-long contract disagreement with television bosses, after signing two-year deals to remain on the hit show. The couple reportedly jeopardized their return to the show by demanding more money from network bosses. Hargitay and Meloni allegedly asked for a share of the program's profits from the NBC network, in addition to the $350,000 they earned per episode, a rare deal similar to ones TV bosses cut with "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" stars Vincent D'Onofrio and Chris Noth. Media reports in April suggested bosses had threatened to can the couple when their contracts expire in May if an agreement could not be reached, but they have agreed to a new two-year deal. Christopher Meloni And Mariska Hargitay “It’s out of my hands,” Christopher Meloni told TV Guide Magazine about his and costar Mariska Hargitay’s oh-so-public Law & Order: SVU contract negotiations. “I wish I could enlighten, and I’m not being coy about it, but I really don’t have anything to say.”Meloni joined Richard Belzer and Law & Order alum Jill Henessy to support the franchise’s creator, Dick Wolf, who was honored by the Joyful Heart Foundation—the organization founded by Hargitay that reaches out to victims of domestic and sexual assault. Though Wolf wasn’t giving any clues about the future of SVU, Hargitay was optimistic yet unsure about whether she’d be returning to the drama, which has already been picked up for an 11th season. “I hope so!” she said. The actress also shared what the show has meant to her: “What I’m most proud about is that the show has provided a platform,” she said. “It’s like, ‘If it’s normal enough to be on television, then it’s OK to talk about.’...
