RECORD 4.6 MILLION RAISED FOR CENTRAL PARK CONSERVANCY

Michael A record $4.6 million raised for Central Park at  this year’s Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon Over 1200  supporters attended Central Park's  64th Annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon which raised in excess of $4.6 million. The event more commonly known as the Central Park " Hat Luncheon" is considered the number one luncheon of the year in New York City. Women dress in their favorite hats along with matching outfits.  The luncheon attracts guests from all over the country. The Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy attracts a top tier crowd to the event and those who feel committed to supporting Central Park because of its great value to NYC.  Spotted among the many guests were former Mayor Michael Bloomberg , Jean Shafiroff,  Christine Schwarzman, Deborah Norville, Bonnie Comley, Grace Hightower, President and CEO of  the Central Park Conservancy-  Betsy Smith ...

Jean Shafiroff With B. Michael Fashion icon Jean Shafiroff and designer B.Michael team up to create a new sleek look for the Central Park Conservancy “Hat “ Luncheon. Celebrity philanthropist Jean Shafiroff and New York fashion designer B. Michael were spotted together at the Central Park Conservancy luncheon. Ms. Shafiroff, who is considered a fashion icon by New York’s elite, was seen wearing a hat and couture silk floral suit both of which were designed by B. Michael. The look was unique and beautiful.  B. Michael is considered to be one of New York’s top independent fashion designers who designs almost exclusively for celebrities and high profile women.  The Central Park Conservancy luncheon raised over $4 million dollars . Jean Shafiroff In Fashion With B. Michael Jean Shafiroff looking fabulous at the Central Park Conservancy Luncheon on May 2, 2018 For a third year in a row, fashion icon Jean Shafiroff wore a B. Michael couture creation to the Central Park Conservancy's "Hat" Luncheon. This year the pretty philanthropist wore a striking green floral couture dress and hat . When the designer B. Michael was interviewed he explained that his inspiration for the dress was a visit to the Monet gardens in France. "I wanted to create a dress for Jean Shafiroff that would be similar to a beautiful green garden." B. Michael went on to explain how he deliberately created a very simple hat of polka dot green tulle. "To overwhelm the look with a garish hat was not what I had in mind, and so Jean and I decided to keep the hat very simple." Jean Shafiroff Fashion Icon Philanthropist and fashion icon Jean Shafiroff looked stunning at the Thirty-Fourth Annual Frederick Law Olmstead Awards Luncheon for Central Park Conservancy. Ms. Shafiroff wore a striking black and white checked hat by New York designer, Suzanne Hats, and a black and white hound-tooth coat designed by Michael Kors. Over 1300 attended the event which raised over $3.5 million for Central Park.
