The terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger is sparking rumors that he will join Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's inside group of advisers, after publicly offering his interest in counselling the sure to be world leader. The Austrian-American Hollywood movie star, who entered the California-state office of the Governor in 2003 as a Republican, admits he would be open to advising Obama, despite the pair’s political differences. And Schwarzenegger insists when it comes to questions surrounding energy or the environment, he would "take his (Obama’s) call".He says, "(I) was always ready to help in any way I can the United States, because, as you know, I’ve committed myself to be a public servant, because this country has given me everything. Governor Schwarzenegger Hollywood star turned Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger is still the Terminator. He has fired fellow actor Clint Eastwood from the California’s State Parks Commission, after he tried to block the construction of a controversial toll road.The Terminator star also canned his brother-in-law Bobby Shriver after they publicly disagreed with Schwarzenegger over plans for a toll road through a park in southern California. Shriver says he and Eastwood are shocked by the decision. He says, "I had hoped to continue to do this work and to protect the park system from developers. It shows you how strong these developers were that were able to arm-wrestle the governor into firing us." A spokesman for the California governor says the pair’s terms had expired. The Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger once again is proving he is a action hero by rescuing a child who collapsed during one of his political speeches.Theo Scott-Femenella fainted while Schwarzenegger was speaking at his Sacramento high school yesterday. The star quickly leaped from the stage and swept him back to his feet.The 12-year-old later said, "All of a sudden, I wake up and see Governor Schwarzenegger helping me up from the ground. I’m sure one side of me was thinking, ‘Cool, the governor’s helping me up.’ But wait, ‘I fainted in front of the Governor. Oh, no.’"

The toxic singer, whose lawyers from legal firm Trope & Trope last month, filed a motion requesting permission to withdraw as her counsel - allegedly believes her inability to keep an attorney in her custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline violates her "civil rights". Spears’ former manager Sam Lutfi reportedly contacted Schwarzenegger’s former publicist to help, and put the 26-year-old in touch with the state commander. A source tells the New York Daily News, "Britney says her civil rights have been violated and she wants to talk to Arnold about it."She wants the governor to look into why she can’t get an attorney. Hollywood star and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is talking about becoming an artist when he leaves his post as California Governor in 2011. The popular star must stand down after serving his second term, and with four years to go, he is looking over resuming his acting career, or taking up his love of painting full time. His spokesperson confirms, "Once his current term is up, he may go back to the movies, or start painting. He hasn’t decided on anything."

Arnold Schwarzenegger's broken leg was put back together with wires and screws Tuesday, and the "Terminator" star should make a full recovery, though he will probably be on crutches during his inauguration next week, officials said.The 59-year-old former bodybuilder broke his right thigh bone over the holiday weekend while skiing with his family in Sun Valley, Idaho. He underwent a 90-minute operation."Following the surgery, the governor was awake, alert and talking in the recovery room," said Kevin Ehrhart, who performed the operation at Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif. "He is now fully coherent, and I have cleared him to resume his duties as governor." Schwarzenegger will remain hospitalized for three days, and his full recovery will take about eight weeks, the surgeon said. The California governor's second inauguration is set for Jan. 5th.
