Toxic star Britney Spears cousin and former assistant Alli Sims is trying to profit from her time as the singers leading aide, She is selling the clothes, jewellery and accessories she was given as the singer’s personal assistant. Sims held a sale in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday to try and unload cases of free stuff she no longer wants to have. A Spears family insider tells Life & Style magazine, "Alli literally got thousands of dollars worth of swag during that year she was at Britney’s side. She hasn’t been working, so she needs the money more than she needs the stuff." And the sale hasn’t gone down well with the Spears family, according to the source: "She promoted the sale as Britney’s cousin… and she’s basically been cut off from any contact with the family." Crazy and toxic Britney Spears cousin Alli Sims is dismissing reports the troubled singer has a drug problem. Sims insists speculation the Toxic singer was under the influence of drugs during a stand-off with police at her Beverly Hills, California mansion earlier this month is untrue. She says, "If something was to come out, I would definitely be shocked."I was with her for eight months pretty much every day and never witnessed anything like that, and I lived there. Spears was taken to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following a run in at her Beverly Hills, California mansion on January 4th when she refused to hand over her youngest son to her ex-husband Kevin Federline’s bodyguard.
