The cocktail party served as a pre-cursor to the organization’s annual benefit event, the RxArt 13th Anniversary Party, which will take place in September 2013. Since its founding in 2000 by Diane Brown, RxArt has steadily aimed to improve pediatric hospitals by transforming the intimidating environments into comforting, engaging spaces. Using site-specific contemporary art as its platform, RxArt provides patients and their families the opportunity to escape the stresses and pains of illness and instead offers a sense of hope. ...
