AMAZING KRESKIN GIVES OJ SIMPSON A CHALLENGE

Image
The Amazing Kreskin Our friend The Amazing Kreskin sent us this e-mail the other day, offering OJ Simpson a challenge. We think this could be a great idea for a television show. It’s appropriate today that I reintroduce the offer and challenge that I made OJ Simpson in 1999, regarding the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole and Ron Goldman. In the past 24 hours, interest and reference to the most covered murder trial in US history has been re-awakened for obvious reasons. In 1999 I sent a letter, delivered to Simpson’s attorney, Johnny Cochran. In essence my challenge to Simpson was “Walk with me, talk with me, and I’ll reveal who murdered your ex-wife, Nicole”. This was not a frivolous scenario. It’s been forgotten that in 1995, OJ had the “generous” nerve to offer a reward for information leading to his ex-wife’s killer! Believe it or not, no one came through with any offer. As a result of this, I made a challenge to OJ to help him “prove your innoce...

Huffington Post Live On the 20th anniversary of O.J. Simpson's infamous police chase, HuffPost Live spoke with Simpson's close friend and former manager Norman Pardo. Pardo told host Marc Lamont Hill that Simpson did not write the controversial book "If I Did It," which explores how Simpson would have hypothetically carried out the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Pardo also claimed that Simpson received a $600,000 payout for agreeing to claim authorship of the book. Excerpts and clips below. Pardo: “I remember when that book was coming out. O.J. called me. He said, 'Here's the deal,' because it was in the news that he was going to do an interview. I said, 'O.J., don't do it, it's stupid.' He said, 'Hey, they offered me $600,000 not to dispute that I [wrote] the book.' He said, 'That's cash.' I said, 'They're going to think you wrote it.' He said, 'So? Everybody thinks I...

Image
O.J. Simpson Former football hero O.J. has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his part in a sports memorabilia heist at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas late last year. The sports star turned actor, stood silently between attorneys Gabriel Grasso and Yale Galanter. During pre-sentencing, Galanter accepted his client’s actions were "beyond stupid" but Simpson felt he was doing the right thing in attempting to reclaim items he considered stolen from him. The attorney told the court, "The court should be lenient… because he didn’t go into a bank and rob somebody; this wasn’t a planned, stealthful, criminal, evil mind act. What it was was a highly emotional, stupid act that violated the law. "If Mr. Simpson would have known… that his action would violate the laws of the state of Nevada, he would have never have done it… Mr Simpson is remorseful, he’s apologetic, he’s sorry." Prior to sentencing, an emotional Simpson, who was not exp...

He's got restraining orders against him from the mayor of Burbank, California. This guy even has stalking charges against him. He's banned from a lot of memorabilia shows. We all knew who he was and that he...

O.J. SIMPSON ARRESTED IN LAS VEGAS

Image
O.J. Simpson has been arrested in Las Vegas in connection with a reported armed robbery on Thursday night. Police insiders suggest the former football star-turned-actor faces charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery and armed robbery with a deadly weapon. The arrest comes as Alfred Bearsdley, the victim of the sports memorabilia raid attempts to clear Simpson’s name by claiming the star was "duped" into believing a stash of his memorabilia was to be illegally sold. Simpson and five associates raided Beardsley’s suite at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, pretending to be part of a group interested in buying the memorabilia items, which included the suit the Naked Gun star wore when he was acquitted of the double murder of his wife Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.The memorabilia collector/broker claims weapons were brandished at the scene and he and a partner were forced to hand over all the memorabilia they had in the suite at g...

KILLER O.J. SIMPSON PRACTICED CRYING

Image
Alleged Murderer O.J. Simpson O.J. Simpson "practiced crying" before a TV interview, a friend has claimed. Simpson, who was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife Nicole and her friend Ronald Goldman, reportedly rehearsed shedding tears for a never-aired interview about his controversial book 'If I Did It'. Norm Pardo, who is currently working on a TV documentary about Simpson, told the New York Post newspaper: "He practiced crying. O.J. still thinks of himself of an actor."Pardo also claims Simpson didn't write one word of the controversial book and was happy for it to be released as long as he was paid. Pardo said: "O.J. told me Regan Books publisher Judith Regan approached him and said, 'Do you mind if we write a book and put your name on it?' and he replied, 'I don't care. You can write anything you want, as long as you pay me.'"O.J. would laugh, 'Can you believe they'd pay me to say I wrote something I didn't a...

O.J. COULD HAVE MORE JUICE ON YOUTUBE

Image
The O.J. Simpson project is dead, but the book and the TV interview could turn up in bootleg form in this age of YouTube and eBay, when scandalous information seldom stays secret for long. News Corp., owner of Fox Broadcasting and publisher Harper Collins, called off Simpson's "confession" Monday after advertisers, booksellers and even Fox personality Bill O' Reilly branded the project sick and exploitative. A two-part interview had been scheduled to air Nov. 27 and Nov. 29 on Fox, with the book, "If I Did It," to follow on Nov. 30. Harper Collins spokeswoman Erin Crum said some copies had already been shipped to stores but would be recalled, and all copies would be destroyed. She would not say how long that would take. But with the interview already taped, and thousands of books either sitting in warehouses or headed to booksellers, his supposedly hypothetical account of how he would have committed the murders of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her fri...

NEWS CORPORATION PULLS THE JUICE

Image
News Corp. says it has canceled publication of O.J. Simpson`s book and planned special on Fox about the killing of his ex-wife. Simpson had been planning to release a book entitled, 'If I Did It, Here`s How It Happened,' about the killings of his ex-wife and her friend, for which Simpson was acquitted in a criminal trial. Many characterized the book and planned television special as a confession. News Corp. is the parent company of both the television network and the book`s publisher. Murdoch`s announcement came as Fox affiliates balked at airing the special. Pappas Broadcasting and Lin Broadcasting, which together own nine Fox affiliates, announced during the weekend they would not air the special, Broadcasting & Cable reported. The Washington Post reported that the Pappas stations said they...

Eleven years after Simpson was acquitted of the Murder of the Century, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively that O.J. is being paid $3.5 million to describe the brutal knife attack blow-by-blow. “Only that kind of money could have tempted O.J. to finally tell the truth,” a West Coast source familiar with the top-secret book project told The ENQUIRER. In the book, “he describes how he grabbed a knife from a man who accompanied him to Nicole’s home -- and moments later found himself covered in blood and looking down on the bodies of Nicole and Ron,” said the source. With its publication only weeks away, the tell-all blockbuster has remained the most explosive secret in publishing—until now. In its early chapters, O.J. paints a vivid picture of his life with Nicole and details their bitter divorce amid h...
