Betty White Golden Girl icon Betty White turned down a chance to appear on Dancing With The Stars, over fears she would "embarrass the audience." The 88 year old legend is admitting she has been approached several times by producers of the show, asking her to dance on the hit show. But White is adamant she won’t be wearing her dancing shoes, because 83-year-old actress Cloris Leachman filled the quota for veteran stars when she appeared on the seventh season in 2008. White told CNN's Larry King, "I have been asked. And I’ve thanked them very profusely. And I said, no thank you. I think Cloris Leachman took care of that whole department. It would be fun and I would love it. But I think there comes a time when… I don’t want to embarrass the audience, but Cloris did it and she did fine. So I think she’s taken care of our age bracket." The award-winning actress and "Dancing With the Stars" cut-up makes vegetarianism look good as she poses in a floor-length cabbage gown with text proclaiming "Let vegetarianism grow on you."

Cloris Leachman Television icon Cloris Leachman is fearing that she has upset ex-lover Gene Hackman by revealing all about their fling on late-night TV. The Hollywood star spoke out about her one-time romance with the movie great during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and she regrets telling all before speaking with her ex.
