Roman Varlamov

New-York based photographer and art director Roman Varlamov, is someone to watch. He has a strong, instinctive grasp of where culture is at - and where it's heading. In his fashion, beauty, and still life photography, Varlamov's notable style is characterized by fusion powerful storytelling with an important new voice in image making.

In 2020 Varlamov became the youngest photographer in the history of Harper's Bazaar to shoot the magazine's main cover with supermodel Daphne Groeneveld. He has also photographed Anya Taylor-Joy, Maye Musk, Leni Klum, Rosie Park, Alton Mason, and Mona Matsuoka - among many others.

Having studied dance, Varlamov is adept at suggesting movement and poise, and having been a photographer from early on, he knows his way around composition and vivid colors as well as high-impact black and white.

Varlamov's photographs have been featured in magazines including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, Elle, Glamour, Robb Report and luxury brands such as, Armani Beauty, Cartier, Dior, Tiffany & CO, Graff, Saks Fifth Avenue, and YSL. Clients also include Channel, Tom Ford and Van Cleef & Arpels.

Recently, Varlamov was included in Forbes 2021 30 UNDER 30 ART & MEDIA list. His portfolio includes more than hundred shoots for print issues of global publications.
