NYS Assemblywoman Rebecca Seawright sworn into office at Martin and Jean Shafiroff's Home on New Year's s Eve.

 Jean Shafiroff , TV host and philanthropist, hosted a New Year's Eve socially distanced dinner party to celebrate the swearing into office of Rebecca Seawright .

 The event took place at the Shafiroff home in Southampton. A group of 10 people gathered at the Shafiroff home for the event. At approximately 11:45PM on December 31, 2020 , NY Civil Court Judge James Clynes swore Rebecca Seawright into office for a fourth term via zoom. Legendary singer and broadway star Marilyn Mae sang a melody she composed for the swearing in.

 All guests wore masks and stayed socially distanced. Approximately 100 people attended via zoom - including many public officials. Those in attendance at Jean Shafiroff's home included NYS Assemblywoman, Rebecca Seawright, Jean Shafiroff. Martin Shafiroff, Mitch Drazin, Jay Hershenson, Judith Kasen-Windsor, Lucia Hwong Gordon, Lieba Nesis, Fritz Brugere and Bradley Hershenson.
