HAMPTONS ENTER PHASE 3 & SOUTHAMPTON INN IS OPEN

Southampton Inn & Claudes

The Hamptons has entered Phase 3 of reopening and that means there are summertime activities and treats at the Southampton Inn.

Phase 3, allows for indoor dining, boutique shopping, and cultural events to make a comeback. Pools are open, micro weddings and backyard gatherings can happen once again. So, whether you’re celebrating Independence Day, organizing a corporate picnic or putting together a picture-perfect micro-wedding, the Southampton Inn is your ideal getaway.

Since March, the Southampton Inn and its exemplary staff has been strictly following CDC sanitizing and disinfecting protocols. They have recently implemented a fascinating new technology, a mobile Ultratech UV/ozone light to sanitize guest rooms and public areas even more efficiently.

During your stay, be sure to visit Claude’s, the Southampton Inn’s signature restaurant, rain or shine. The indoor dining room has been expanded through the bar area and part of the ballroom, to allow extra space between tables for social distancing.

And for those who wish to continue to dine al fresco, Claude’s colorful picnic baskets are loaded with family-friendly, All-American, warm-weather classics -- like wrapped sandwiches, salads, artisanal cheeses, fresh baked breads, home-made cookies, fresh fruit smoothies and Champagne. The picnic baskets are available from 7 am to 7 pm daily.

Corporate gatherings will also have a different feel this year. Southampton Inn is offering corporate picnics, barbecues or clam bakes for groups of up to 50. Enjoy a three-hour lunch or spend the day with your colleagues; go swimming, play tennis, relay races, or croquet; or just relax and explore the historic Village of Southampton.

The Southampton Inn’s heated pool is open daily from 9 am to 7 pm. To ensure the safety of guests only 10 people are permitted in the pool at a time and lounge chairs and tables are appropriately distanced.

Coopers Beach is open to Southampton Inn guests with your hotel ID card. The polka dotted shuttle will take you there and back with fewer people per trip to avoid crowding. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels are provided to our guests at no charge and are sanitized between each use.

Looking for a read while at the pool or beach? Book Bags from Bedside Reading are available to you in the library so that you do not have to rummage through the shelves for your beach reads.

Planning an event? Phase 3 allows the Southampton Inn to host mini-monies, micro-weddings, or "backyard events" for groups up to 50. Call for details, pricing, and even rain back-up in the ballroom.

Finally, don’t forget that pets are always welcome in selected rooms and that children under 12 stay free. For reservations or information about stay packages, please call 631-283-6500 or go their website at SouthamptonInn.com to reserve your stay and view packages.

See you this summer!
