Former GOP Rep. Mark Sanford says Trump’s attacks on congresswomen ‘sound’ racist.

On exploring a possible 2020 run against Pres. Trump, Sanford says: “I’ll give it 30 days and see whether energy and people and resources come my direction... or not.”

When asked how he will handle his extramarital affair being brought up if he decides to run against Pres. Trump, Sanford says, “As best I can, it’s a chapter of life I regret.”

“If you learn from your mistakes, you become a better person for them.”

Sanford says, “It sounds like to me” President Trump’s attacks on the Democratic freshman congresswomen are racist.
