Sen. Rand Paul talks attack by neighbor, GOP baseball shooting, and release of GOP memo.

Sen. Paul discussed the horrific attack that left him with a punctured lung and multiple fractured ribs: 


"I didn't know how badly I was hurt in the beginning ... I couldn't sit up — I had to have help sitting up for the first four or five weeks."


On GOP baseball practice shooting


"People think sometimes because we're Republicans or Democrats ... somehow it's ok to want violence towards each other — and it's not!"


On releasing secret GOP memo


Sen. Paul says he's "absolutely" in favor of releasing the controversial GOP memo: "We need more sunshine and we need more oversight."


Sen. Paul on partisanship of intelligence agencies: "I think maybe the FBI should do their job, but maybe be a little quieter during election season so they don't influence elections one way or the other."
