Private jet charter company JetSmarter, in collaboration with and Talent Resources, presented an exclusive art exhibition at East Hampton’s renowned Gallery Valentine, dedicated to the works of Peter Beard, which featured subjects such as Pamela Anderson, Hannah Davis, Chanel Iman, Nina Agdal, Helena Christensen and Alexandra Richards. A private viewing was held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016, with 25 unique art pieces on display. The works were shown by artist and women’s right activist Natalie White, who was Beard’s recurring muse and the subject of many of his works of art. All of the works were available for purchase and range from $50,000 to $150,000, with the total collection of works worth over a million dollars. Some of the remaining works can be seen at Art Southampton through July 11, 2016.

Notable attendees included: Courtney Love with producer boyfriend Nick Jarecki, Beard’s muse Natalie White with sister Elizabeth White, art world collectors Helly Nahmad and Larry Warsh, nightlife impresario Richie Akiva, DuJour magazine’s Jason Binn, socialite Kelly Bensimon, it girl Maya Henry with mother Azteca Henry, Tony winning producer Rose Caiola, lawyer to the oligarchs Ed Mermelstein, fashion designer Jill Stuart and artist Erik Parker. Courtney Love showed considerable interest for the works, taking her time browsing through the art collection with boyfriend Nick Jarecki. Love and boyfriend also signed up with JetSmarter on the day and used one of their private jet charters to fly back to the west coast.

Peter Beard’s world famous bodies of work are influenced by his love for Africa and the East End of Long Island. Many depict the artist’s take on the changes in landscape that he witnessed throughout his time in Kenya, mixed into collages with images of Western civilization and pop culture. Many of them are controversial, including racy images of famous models and socialites. Beard became the subject of a major lawsuit from model and muse Natalie White when the model had been denied the, according to herself, 50 works that she had been promised in return for her $100,000 investment into the artist’s works. The Hamptons exhibition includes 25 of the artworks provided to White in this notorious lawsuit. The same 25 photos have reportedly since been sold to a private group of art investors.

Additional works of Peter Beard are on display at East Hampton’s Guild Hall museum with the solo show “Last Word From Paradise” for the month of July 2016, which is the artist’s first U.S. museum solo exhibition in over 15 years.
