Jean Shafiroff And Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney

United States Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney and Jean Shafiroff of the French Heritage Society joined French-Americans living in New York City in a candlelight vigil, rally and press conference at Vin Sur Vingt -1140 Broadway in Manhattan today. 

The vigil is in memory of the victims of the recent terrorism attack in Paris. Officials announced important information for families living or traveling in France. The French Government has declared a State of the Emergency. They also provided ways local residents can support charities and organizations that are providing assistance to those affected by the incident. This is the worst attack in Paris since World War II.
