Celebrity jewelry designer Margo Manhattan ̶ whose celebrity client list includes Beyonce, Selena Gomez and Amber Heard ̶ stopped Madison Avenue traffic with a casting call in search of the Margo Manhattan “it-girl” for her new web campaign and the designer’s exclusive collection with EVine Live.

Over 150 gorgeous models lined Madison Avenue vying to be the face of Margo Manhattan jewelry featured prominently on MargoManhattan.com, which is set for re-launch July 2015. Models are also competing to be the face of Margo Manhattan’s exclusive EVine Collection, which will be premiering September 2015. The collection, made exclusively for EVine, marks the first time Margo Manhattan has been available on TV.

Margo Manhattan, an internationally-renowned jewelry designer, was born into a life of art, beauty and culture as the daughter of prima ballerina Karin von Aroldingen and god-daughter to ballet legend George Balanchine. She gets inspiration for her designs from the fast pace of New York City and ballet worlds theatrical scenes. Margo's designs are bold and edgy, yet elegant and sexy. Margo began dreaming of becoming a jewelry designer when she was a child and started making jewelry in the byzantine technique at the age of 15. As she grew, her passion for metals, stones and jewelry making developed. After studying jewelry design at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Margo perfected her design skills in Paris at the Studio Bercot. During her time in Paris she began working with fashion icons Karl Lagerfeld, Patrick Kelly and with famed Vogue photographer Arthur Elgort. Not long after her arrival to Paris, Margo’s jewelry was prominently featured in Paris Vogue after her jewelry was featured in a styling shoot by Patrick Demarchelier. After being discovered, Margo Manhattan’s designs were sold around the world from Paris to Hong Kong. After her time in Paris, Margo Manhattan moved back to New York City in order to continue producing her jewelry line.
