AVENUE MAGAZINE -- Our girl of the week is socialite and philanthropist Jean Shafiroff. Undoubtedly one of the most influential women in New York Society, she is also a highlight of the summer season, hosting and attending some of the most exclusive events in both New York and Southampton, like last week’s Central Park Conservancy event. Along with her husband, Barclays managing director Martin Shafiroff, she had donated, supported and participated in charities like the Southampton Hospital and NYC Mission Society. We’re also completely in love with her style, especially the blue dress she wore to the French Historical Society cocktail soiree she hosted at her Park Avenue home.
