MADAME TUSSAUDS UNVEILS SUPERSTAR LORDE IN WAX

Lorde In Wax

Madame Tussauds Hollywood unveiled today GRAMMY winning singer-songwriter, Lorde. Lorde was an enthusiastic participant in the creation of her first wax figure, spending time with a team of Madame Tussauds studio artists who took over 200 precise measurements to ensure the figure fully captured her style, eye color, posture, signature hair and more. Lorde’s figure dons a Stella McCartney inspired suit similar to the look she wore to the 2015 Golden Globes.

In 2013, Lorde released her debut single "Royals". It became an international crossover hit, peaking atop the US Billboard Hot 100 and eventually making Lorde the youngest solo artist to achieve a US number-one single since 1987. Later that year, she released her debut studio album Pure Heroine and received two GRAMMY Awards for her single "Royals" in the categories Best Pop Solo Performance and Song of the Year in 2014. Additionally, Lorde has been named among TIME Magazine’s most influential teenagers in the world.
