We are really excited that our extremely talented friend Jessica Proffes will be showcasing her work at The Grind Ultra Art Bash. Jessica has been a fixture in our neighborhood for many years here @ Hunters Point South, LIC Landing. Her art is exciting and the detail is absolutely amazing.
Born 1991 in Queens, New York, Jessica Proffes, known as Sinn, developed her taste for imagination and drawing very early on.

 Self-taught artist Sinn brings her creations to life with bold colors, realistic ideas and meaningful messages. Her imagery has a surreal edge, hinting at scenarios that may, or may not, hold darker subtexts. Often painting with acrylic, She experiments with various techniques and materials, which grants her immense freedom to articulate strange, deep and touching pieces, inspired by her life experiences and the creative world of NYC, her works portray a unique and creepy quality that really catches the eye, opens the mind and reflects Upon oneself.

THE PROSTATE CANCER FOUNDATION 2018 NY DINNER @ DANIEL RESTAURANT

The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) hosted the 2018 New York Dinner at the Restaurant Daniel at 60 East 65th Street in New York City and raised $11 million dollars to support the foundation. The highly anticipated Dinner at Daniel was an exquisite culinary experience featuring a special guest performance by Grammy® Award winners Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo. UNBRIDLED FILM ON HEALING POWER OF HORSE-THERAPY SET FOR THEATRICAL RELEASE

San Jose, CA — December 6, 2018 -- UNBRIDLED will open in select theaters nationwide on January 18, 2019. Cinespots announced today they’ve partnered with Moving Visions Entertainment for the US theatrical release of the film.
UNBRIDLED tells the powerful story of an abused girl who teams up with an abused horse on a journey of healing. Directed by John David Ware, the film stars Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight; The Expendables), T.C. Stallings (War Room; Courageous), Rachel Hendrix (October Baby), Jenn Gotzon (Frost/Nixon) and introduces Tea McKay, playing Sarah Miller, the lead character.
The film is inspired by the equine assisted psychotherapy (EAP) program of the Corral Riding Academy in Cary, NC, which helps abused girls heal by pairing them with rehabilitated horses.
