EMIN NAMED 'SEXIEST MAN IN RUSSIA' AT ZD AWARDS

Emin

International pop star, Emin was named "Sexiest Man in Russia" this week at the ZD Awards at the Kremlin, Moscow. Many may remember the dishy singer from his performance at the 2013 Miss Universe broadcast, where he performed with fellow artists Steven Tyler and Panic At the Disco! to almost a billion TV viewers in 160 countries.

Born in the Soviet Union, based in Moscow and considered one of Russia’s biggest music stars, Emin (Agalarov) actually grew up in New Jersey and still spends much of his time at his home in the Garden State.

The sexy award follows in the wake of other recent honors including a Golden Gramophone (the Russian Grammy) and a 2014 World Music Award presented to him during a star studded show in Monte Carlo that featured Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Flo Rida and Ricky Martin.

Earlier in 2014, Emin performed on NBC's Today Show live from the Sochi Winter Olympics where he had on-air personalities Al Roker and Willie Geist dancing (or running in place) to his performance.

On being named sexiest Russian male:

“I was totally shocked when my name was announced although, I have to admit, my mom always told me I was a very cute kid,” jokes Emin.

Emin will be returning to his NJ roots in May as part of his USA tour dates in NYC, Brooklyn and NJ to support his new CD MORE AMOR released on Warner Music worldwide on March 24th. Next month Emin will kick off a month long European tour with shows in Paris, London, Madrid, Milan, Dublin and Berlin.
