CELINE DION WILL RETURN TO LAS VEGAS CAESARS

Celine Dion

Celine Dion will resume her residency at Caesars Palace Las Vegas in late August with a new act, her rep told ABC News.

Dion, 46, announced last year that she was taking an indefinite leave from the stage to care for her husband, René Angélil, who had been diagnosed with cancer.

"I want to devote every ounce of my strength and energy to my husband's healing, and to do so, it's important for me to dedicate this time to him and to our children," the singer told ABC News at the time. "I also want to apologize to all my fans everywhere, for inconveniencing them, and I thank them so much for their love and support."

Dion, who has three children with Angélil, recently sat down with ABC News to discuss her Vegas show, her husband's condition and what's next for their family. The powerful interview will air next week on “Good Morning America” and “Nightline.”
