MOLLY PRICE & TRACIE THOMS HELPING REAL COPS

REEL Cops Helping REAL Cops: Actors Molly Price and Tracie Thoms, both of whom have entertained millions of people with their iconic portrayals of law enforcement officers, will support the National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children’s Foundation (NLEAFCF) Hero Awards Gala on tomorrow in NYC.



Hosting the gala is Tracie Thoms, from ‘Cold Case’, the top-rated, Emmy-nominated TV-series. Well known for her portrayal of Cold Case Senior Homicide Detective Kat Miller, Tracie recently completed filming the feature film musical, Annie, with Jamie Foxx.

Molly Price, who will act as auctioneer for the NLEAFCF gala, is known for her starring role as Police Officer (and later, Detective) Faith Yokas in the crime drama series “Third Watch”. Molly began her television career with guest appearances on “Law & Order”. Her husband, actor Derek Kelly, is a real-life firefighter in the FDNY and was a recurring guest star on Third Watch as an FDNY firefighter. Created in the aftermath of 9/11 by Founder and President Alfred Kahn, the NLEAFCF serves the long-term needs of children and families nationwide affected by a line of duty death or permanent disability. At the gala, NLEAFCF will present awards including the Public Service Hero Award to New York City Police Commissioner William J. Bratton. The event is at The Edison Ballroom, 240 W 47th St,in New York City.
