Over the weekend, the Clash in Cotai 2 press tour stopped at The Venetian and The Palazzo® Las Vegas. Upon entering The Venetian, the main event fighters – Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri – flanked by the Top Rank Knockouts, were greeted by fans that had lined the Grand Colonnade hours before the fighters’ arrival. The fighters are on a 12-day, 27,273-mile media tour to promote the November 22, fight at the Cotai Arena in The Venetian Macao.

During their stop, Pacquiao and Algieri met with Team Members of The Venetian and The Palazzo, and participated in a Q&A session in The Palazzo’s Waterfall Atrium.

“I want to thank the Venetian and all the fans who came here today,” said Pacquiao to the fans who were cheering on in the Waterfall Atrium. “Please don’t miss this fight on November 22. It’s going to be a good fight.”

Echoing those sentiments, Chris Algieri addressed the crowd, “I got nothing bad to say about Manny. He’s an eight-division world champion. You can’t say anything more about anyone in this sport today. It’s absolutely an honor to share this space with him and to share that ring on November 22. I’m very much looking forward to that night.”

After their public appearance in the Waterfall Atrium, Pacquiao and Algieri made their way to Lagasse’s Stadium, surprising guests that were there to watch football. Pacquaio and Algieri spoke with Yahoo! Sports Radio’s Ken Thomson to close out the night.

The Clash in Cotai 2 will take place in Macao, China, at the Cotai Arena. Tickets for the event can be purchased at CotaiTicketing.com. For fans in Las Vegas viewing the fights, The Venetian will host the only viewing party on The Strip. Tickets go on sale in September for this exclusive event and can be purchased at Venetian.com.
