LIPSHTICK—THE PERFECT SHADE OF STAND UP debuts two new comedians as part of its all-female comedy series. Stand-up veterans Caroline Rhea and Wendy Liebman will perform at The Sands Showroom August 1 and 2, 2014.



Caroline Rhea is a stand-up comedy veteran who got her start with an appearance on Meatballs III. Rhea was later cast in the hit teen series Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Rhea was a main character on the show until 2002. In 2002, Rhea landed her own talk show called The Caroline Rhea Show. She ventured into voice-over acting when she was cast as the step-mother in the cartoon series Phineas and Ferb.



Wendy Liebman began her comedy career in Cambridge, Massachusetts, after taking a comedy class at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education. Liebman formerly was studying psychology at Wellesley University and was granted a psychology research position at Harvard University after graduation. Liebman began performing stand-up comedy in the Boston area after taking her class at the adult education center. In 1997, Wendy won the American Comedy Award for Female Stand-Up Comedian of the Year. Liebman has appeared on late night shows including The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Show with David Letterman, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Liebman debuted an HBO comedy special in 2012 and released the show for download in May of 2012.
