*NYSNC REUNION WITHOUT JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE

Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys and Jordan Knight of New Kids on The Block appeared on HuffPost Live today, discussed their new album collaboration and also responded to Joey Fatone’s accusation that the Backstreet Boys are on tour because “they just need the money.” Carter said that he and Fatone have since cleared the air and even suggested *NSYNC could get back together without Justin Timberlake.
On Joey Fatone’s comments:
Carter: “I know Joey. He’s a sweetheart. He has a dry sense of humor. He’s one of those guys that tries to make a point and also backs it up with some humor. We talked afterwards and yes, I made my point and got that across and he understood it because at the end of the day, we are protective over what we do and our fans. And our fans are loyal to us and we are loyal to them.”
Knight: And everybody has to make a living, correct? So, what’s wrong with that?
On *NYSNC getting back together:
Carter: “I still think that they can get back together. That’s why I was so thrown off. I believe that they, even without Justin [Timberlake], could go out and do it. And [I] maybe would like to see that happen. I feel it's unfortunate that one person should determine [whether they reunite]. It shouldn't be that way.’”
