MARK MCGRATH TALKS ON FAN BITING HIS JUNK

Former Sugar Ray frontman and host of truTV's "Killer Karaoke," Mark McGrath, visited "The Wendy Williams Show" today to reveal how fatherhood hasn't fully tamed his ego, the most extreme dating rumor he's heard about himself, and his most painful encounter with a fan.

Mark spoke candidly about how his rock 'n' roll days are now behind him with children in the picture. "It's well documented, I had a good time in the 90s. I was kind of, trying to find myself. I'm the last guy to take his lampshade off at the party, I'm like where'd everybody go? I'm the only guy there at the party. And then these wonderful kids came into my life. I'm a father now first, everything else is second. I love those guys."

Mark told Wendy that driving his three-year-old twins around in a minivan has curtailed his rockstar mojo with the ladies but he wouldn't trade it in. "If you're a parent, the minivan is a ferrari. OK? It's so convenient, the juiceboxes go here, there's a TV. It's wonderful. But the problem is I'll pull up to a red light, I'll see a hot chick... I still got an ego Wendy, just like you. So I'll pull over to the stop light, look over, a hot chick, I'm like 'she's looking at me, she's looking at me.' Then I go, number one: minivan. Then I go number two: not 1999 anymore. So, it's hurts a little bit people, but that minivan is a life saver, I love it."

Having been linked in the tabloids to celebrities like Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton, Mark recounted the dating rumor that really set his head spinning. "There was a rumor about me and Madonna, and I would perpetuate it, I'd go 'I don't know, maybe, maybe not'. One night, it was Oscar week, I met her like in '99 at a party. She goes Mark, walk me out to my car. Now I'm an idiot, I don't know what that means. I walk her out to the car, there's a million paparazzi, they're flashing the bulbs, I'm feeling all cool, you know. And then take her to the car, give her a little kiss on the cheek, I go back. And now the paparazzi, now she's gone, they're making fun of me. They're going 'loser, she doesn't love you blah, blah, blah'. And I'm like, oh my god, what world am I getting into? So I go to sleep, wake up super hungover and it's: Ricky Martin's out, Mark McGrath's in, Madonna's new boytoy."

Describing his most painful run-in with a fan, Mark recalled a performance he was giving in 1998 in Texas, in front of a 2000-strong crowd. "Girl comes on stage, kinda like Miley Cyrus, you know, pre-twerking days. Like alright, this is cool. She goes down in like, sort of the nether region, for lack of a better word, and chomps down on my junk. Hardcore! Now it's not fun anymore, you know what I mean. My techs, my roadies are going, there's a problem here. They try to pull her apart, they can't get her off, she had the jaws of life on my unit." As for whether she broke skin, he added, "I didn't know till after the show, I looked down. And let's just say I got a tetanus shot that night."
