New York Socialite Kelly Bensimon and Smash alum Jeremy Jordan were among the celebs at RadioShack's Wearable Technology Showcase in association with Fitbit and SOL REPUBLIC at RadioShack's concept store in NYC the other day.

RadioShack believes that fitness can be fun and guests got to see and experience the latest wearable devices to keep them motivated and active in 2014 including the Fitbit Zip Wireless Activity Tracker and the Fitbit Flex Wireless Activity and Sleep Wristband that measures personal metrics including real-time stats where you can monitor steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, stairs climbed and active minutes throughout the day.

SOL REPUBLIC showcased their new Relay Headphones (coming to RS in March) that are designed to keep up with you from running to the train to training for a run. It's the only headphone you'll need all day no matter what your day entails. The same way a cross-trainer shoe is used for various activities, Relays are designed to be a “crossover” headphone for all activities throughout the entire day.

Kelly Bensimon loved the FItbit Devices. “It’s not just a fitness tool but a cute accessory.” And then she tried on the SOL Republic Headphones she gleamed, “I love that these Relays stay in place when I’m working out and have amazing sound!”

Jeremy Jordan brought his wife Alicia to the event and was impressed with the RadioShack Concept Store. “So many great electronics under one roof. Very cool.”

Nutritionist and Foodtrainers founder Lauren Slayton, MS, RD was also onsite offering strategies and tips to avoid the most disastrous dieting pitfalls and no-nonsense nutrition and exercise advice for a healthy, more active you in 2014.

Additional celebrity fans of Fitbit and SOL REPUBLIC include True Blood's Joe Manganiello, Krysten Ritter, Christina Hendricks, Kendra Wilkinson, Don Johnson, Rose MacGowan, Gilles Marini, and more.
