Following a screening at the MoMA for the premiere of Lifetime Original Movie House of Versace, guests headed to B & Co., New York City’s hot new chic restaurant, hip lounge and ultra-privée club, for a private after-party hosted by Cinema Society founder Andrew Saffir in conjunction with MarVista Entertainment and Lifetime..
Joining the celebration at B & Co. were House of Versace star Gina Gershon, actor Gerard Butler, actor Alan Cumming, model Helena Christensen, singer Michael Stipe, actor Griffin Dunne, film directors Terry George and Richard LaGravenese, socialite Nina Griscom, Estée Lauder president John Demsey, and photographer Sante D’Orazio.
“While socializing on the second floor lounge with views of the coveted Plaza Square below, guests were served savory hors d’oeuvres and Martini sparkling wines with beautifully crafted ice cubes designed by Fruzen Ice.”
New to the city’s thriving social scene, B & Co. is a three-floor restaurant, lounge and private club located in the heart of New York City. Uniting hospitality impresario Max Burgio’s sophisticated European-style social concept with manager Anthony Guinehut’s restaurant industry experience, B & Co. transforms from ultrachic restaurant by day to A-list lounge by night, creating a high-end haven reserved for those who feel at ease in the company of New York City’s beautiful elite.
House of Versace chronicles the life of Italian designer Donatella Versace, as played by Gina Gershon and directed by Sara Sugarman. Based on Deborah Ball’s best-selling book, the biopic uncovers Donatella’s story of overcoming a drug addiction and the tragic slaying of her brother to re-build the Versace brand as one of the most influential fashion powerhouses ever known.
