In the new issue of Us Weekly, the cover story is all about the secrets of the Duck Duo, Willie and Korie Robertson. Before the show — which follows the pair and Willie’s mostly bearded extended family — “we had a great foundation,” Willie explained. “Our marriage has been tested: tons of kids, growing businesses and working with family on both sides. And it’s withstood all that. You either melt and crash or you become strong. We’re strong.” Willie told Us that the couple met in third grade at summer camp and then wed as teens! “Her senior year, I saw Korie at the mall with some of her friends. I thought, man, you know? It felt like something was here. She called me after that mall visit, and that was pretty much it from there.” “We fought a lot,” Korie revealed about the first year of marriage, “When we didn’t have any money, we fought over whether he could buy a pack of baseball cards or I could buy a magazine. Then, when the kids were little, we fought over who had to clean up the throw-up from the bathroom. Plus, our families are total opposites — his is more of a hunting family, mine was more a business family.” But there were some key things we learned during pre-marriage counseling: In an argument, don’t say “You never do this” or “You always do this” because it puts the other person on the defensive. The other was, don’t talk about your in-laws. We’ve really abided by those two things, and it’s saved us a lot of trouble.” And you’ll never believe who the more romantic one of the two is, Willie! “He’s really good at that!” Korie gushed “If he knows I’m going through a stressful time, he’ll write an awesome sweet note and leave it on my mirror in the morning. It’s not about the grand gestures. It’s the little day-to-day things.”

Also in the issue, Meadow Soprano is a mom! Jamie-Lynn Sigler introduces Us exclusively to her son with Cutter Dykstra. Every morning the new mom walks into the nursery in her L.A. home and greets her son, Beau, the exact same way. “I look at him and I say, ‘You grew up last night!’ ” the actress, 32, tells Us of the infant, already sleeping through the night at just 7 weeks old. “ ‘You are so big!’ Her 36-hour delivery was a labor of love in itself. But Sigler insists she enjoyed the experience completely. A handful of family and friends was on hand, and the group watched YouTube videos and Japanese prank shows in between contractions! “It felt like a party,” she raved. “We had music going and my mom ate a box of See’s candy chocolates like popcorn at a movie.” A wedding and a second child are also on the agenda for Sigler and Dykstra she revealed. “But we’ll take a break before having another. This little man needs his time!” ­

Nina Dobrev Splits From Derek Hough: What Went Wrong

Derek Hough's dance card is once again open. A little less than two weeks after their first public date, the Dancing With the Stars pro and girlfriend Nina Dobrev have split, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.

The couple of six weeks -- who hit up Universal Studios' Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights in L.A. on Oct. 5 -- decided recently that the relationship had "played itself out," one insider tells Us. Geography was a factor, too: Hough, 28, is filming DWTS in L.A., while Dobrev, 24, is shooting The Vampire Diaries in Atlanta, Ga.

"The distance was too much to handle," a pal says of the pair.

Us Weekly first exclusively revealed that the two were dating in late September. "[Nina] was hanging a lot with Derek's sister Julianne," a source told Us at the time. "Then she fell for him."

And he for her. "Derek is smitten with Nina," the insider added. "He said he hasn't felt this way for a girl in a long time...Everyone approves!"

Alas, the relationship seems to have run its course. But Dobrev's friendship with Julianne is still intact. "Julianne understands -- there are no hard feelings," another source tells Us of the Safe Haven star and the CW actress, who split from costar Ian Somerhalder in May after three years of dating.
