The legendary actress Cicely Tyson is greeted after her performance in the Broadway production of Trip to Bountiful by the Hon. Mark Brantley, Deputy Premier of the Caribbean island of Nevis, the birthplace of Ms. Tyson’s parents. Brantley presented the acclaimed actress with an invitation from the government of Nevis to visit the island in September to celebrate its 30th anniversary as an independent nation.Also spotted backstage talking to the premier were Lenny Kravitz and Gabourey Sidibe.
